Well, we made it a year and vsociety is still alive (and kicking!) It’s fun to look back on all the progress we’ve made and the new direction we are heading.
When we first launched vsociety, we had a basic framework, but it was still composed like a company blog. Even though the UI was a bit different, the experience still felt the same. And that was not what we envisioned as the correct path forward.
So, we went back to the drawing board, gathered all the evidence from the past twelve months and dialed in exactly how we wanted to build on what we started.
With that said, we are excited to launch vsociety 2.0, completely redesigned from the ground up to organize and house the most advanced vulnerability research on the web.
We now have nine beautifully designed templates (including a meme one!) broken down into easy-to-follow steps. With a clear set of instructions, you will be writing with ease and earning more cheese!
One of the hallmark features of vsociety 2.0 is the x_detection and x_remedation scripts. In this way, vsociety will serve as a central repository for all things script related. Users can write and submit scripts and will receive compensation in the form of vcoins for their submissions once approved. Vcoins can then be exchanged for products in the vstore.
We also reorganized the homepage into a more robust feed. You will see trending posts, the leaderboard (to see who may or may not be your competition 😜), topic bounty CVEs, and more. The feed now prioritizes content and we cleared up some of the available real estate to make that even more apparent.
